This Must Be The Place Stays

During the pandemic, Ari and Annika (a couple living in Scotland), embarked on the first of their holiday cottage journeys with the Arran apartment. On the drive over to the beautiful Lamlash Bay, with the keys we had just collected in our hands, randomly and perfectly timed, the radio blasted out David Byrne's voice: "...guess this must be the place" - a favourite song of theirs. They knew it was fate. It was clear those words would have to play a part in their future endeavors. This Must Be The Place Stays was born.

After a stressful but satisfying renovation, they caught the bug. By the time they were launching their Arran project and getting such positive feedback from their first guests, they decided they were hooked! Call them the ‘hostesses with the mostest.’ The Isle of Skye is their most recent project which they completed in September 2022. They are now thrilled to welcome guests from all around the world to their new wee shiny abode. Hosting tourists and making their time in Scotland as amazing as it can be is a huge part of why they started out this little venture.

The Isle of Arran and the Isle of Skye hold such huge places in their hearts and they just want to create a cozy, characterful, quirky space for people eager to explore both of these beautiful Scottish islands. If you are looking for a home for your holiday...this definitely must be the place!
